On the 3rd December ERIK Thematic Working Group on "Science and Industry Relations" led by Emilia Romagna region has been launched (see the minutes of the event). This was followed by the meeting of the Thematic Working Group on "Spin offs and Start ups" and the study visit on the same topic which have taken place in Austria, Wr. Neustadt (close to Vienna) on 4-5 December 2003. The overall event was organised by Ms. Irma Priedl of the Amt der Niederösterreich Landesregierung (Lower Austria).
