Industry Science Relations Gent - Flanders (5th 6th September 2006) |
The second ERIK+ Study visit was held in Flanders (Belgium) on the 4th and 5th of September 2006 within the Thematic Working Groups Industry Science Relations.
The ISR study visit in Flanders region was organised on by IWT (the Institute for the Promotion of Innovation by Science and Technology in Flanders) and by GOMOV (GOM Oost-Vlaanderen), in collaboration with Emilia-Romagna region and ASTER Science Technology Industry, as TWG co-ordinator.
The event programme included the presentation of the Flanders RPIA, the presentation and discussion on Flanders 5 non-RPIA Good Practices included in the database (“Technological services projects- VIS-TD”, “Postdoctoral Fellowships”, “Interface services”, “TETRA- and HOBU-Fund”, “SBO project”), as well as the presentation of two good practices chosen as case studies for the final publication of this Thematic Working Groups: OPTOMED from Tuscany (Italy) and SIDEUM from Småland med öarna (Sweden). The initiative also included a visit to Gent University and the presentation of a number of Food, Agriculture and Biotech Projects developed by the Biotech Engineering department and ended with a visit to ILVO -Institute for Agricultural and Fisheries Research and the presentation of several ISR related projects developed by the Institute.
